The UK's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations require that all retailers of electrical goods assist in delivering a UK wide WEEE collection system and encourage consumers in the participation of recycling electronic equipment.

So that that you can get your waste recycled, we have contributed towards a national fund to assist local councils to develop their existing waste electronics collection facilities.  This should in turn allow producers of this equipment to meet their obligations.

In order to meet our obligations as a retailer we have opted to become a full member of the Distributor Take-back Scheme (DTS).  Membership of the DTS gives us exemptions from the requirements to provide in-store take back of WEEE from private households on a like for like basis, free of charge.

Your WEEE can, however, either be taken to the local council tip, collected from your home by the local council or we will take it back and dispose of it on your behalf for the following charges:-
